Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Dustcart Training Provided Location: Rochford Salary: £16.08 PAYE per hour, weekly pay – Temp to Perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:30 Our client, a well established waste management company based in Rochford, is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join their waste and recycling team. This opportunity is open to experienced HGV Class 2 drivers, even if you have not previously driven a dustcart. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: • Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on scheduled waste and recycling routes • Completing collections safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures • Supporting the crew with loading duties when required • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects • Adhering to health and safety standards at all times Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 2 Category C licence • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card • Previous Class 2 driving experience • A positive, reliable and team focused approach • Good local knowledge of Rochford is beneficial but not essential Previous dustcart or waste collection experience is advantageous but not required, as full training will be provided.
