Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Lincoln - £45,000-£50,000 We are happy to be exclusively supporting a fast growing, owner managed business in Lincoln, who are recruiting an exciting new Management Accountant role due to business growth. Reporting into the Group FC, you will play a key role in managing financial processes and providing insights to support decision-making, ensuring that the business continues to thrive and expand. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, detailed variance analysis, ratios and cash flow statements Ensure accurate accruals, prepayments, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts Preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting, providing accurate financial projections and variance analysis Analyse and manage costs across the business, identifying areas for cost-saving and operational efficiency improvements Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability Inventory and stock control: Monitoring and reporting on inventory levels, stock valuations and driving efficiencies Support and maintain strong internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies Assist in VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations Support ongoing improvements and updates to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Business Partnering with operational managers to drive awareness and efficienciesWhat you will need to be the successful Management Accountant: CIMA/ ACCA Qualified, or later stages Part Qualified Experience of working in a Manufacturing/ Distribution business at a similar level with a track record in reporting and analysis Good experience of IT systems including good MS Excel skills Self-starter with good communication skills and a can-do attitude Continuous improvement and growth mind setIn return your package will include: Flexible working Day off for your birthday Career development opportunity Supportive, family orientated environmentIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Management Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
