Production Operative

Job Description: Production Operative (Plastic Injection Moulding) Near Chipping Norton / Enstone, Oxfordshire £30,500 per annum Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 6:00pm The Company Our client is a well-established manufacturer with over 40 years’ experience producing innovative plastic-based safety products used across construction, highways, and infrastructure sectors. Operating from a modern facility in Oxfordshire, they design and manufacture high-quality, sustainable products – many made from recycled materials – supplying customers across the UK and internationally. The Role We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team, working within the plastic injection moulding department. This is a hands-on role working with machinery to produce high-volume plastic components used in safety equipment. Key Responsibilities * Operating plastic injection moulding machines * Loading raw materials and monitoring production cycles * Removing finished products from moulds * Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards * Trimming, finishing, and preparing products for dispatch * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Working efficiently to meet production targets Working Hours * Monday to Thursday * 6:00am – 6:00pm * 3-day weekend every week Pay * £30,500 per annum Requirements * Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred (injection moulding advantageous but not essential) * Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment * Good attention to detail and quality standards * Reliable with strong work ethic * Willingness to learn and develop within the role Benefits * Long weekends every week (4-day working week) * Stable, permanent opportunity with a growing manufacturer * Training provided on machinery and processes * Opportunity to progress within the business
