HGV Class 1 Driver- Permanent

Deliver freight and heavy loads safely and efficiently across the UK using a Class 1 vehicle. Shifts start between 5.30am and 8.00am Monday to Friday. Weekend and overnight work is by mutual agreement. Flexibility is essential, including driving smaller vehicles and completing other tasks when required. Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and in line with the Highway Code and regulatory standards. Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections. Keep accurate delivery records and obtain customer authorisation, including electronic job sign-off. Update the office and customers on issues to support safe, efficient working. Load and unload the vehicle safely. Check freight before departure and comply with Civil Aviation rules and regulations. Download tachograph data weekly. Provide a full 5-year history for security clearance, with references and covering gaps over 28 days. Clean UK driving licence with no disqualifications in the last 3 years. Driver Qualification Card and CPC periodic training. Digital tachograph card.
