Meat Cutter

We are currently recruiting for experienced Butchers, to join our client that works with raw meat, located in the S60 area of Rotherham. Key Details: • Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm • £12.71 per hour • Guaranteed full time hours • Free onsite parking • Temp to perm position Duties: • Working with a variety of raw meats • Cutting, grinding and preparing meats made fit for sale • De-boning of meat and poultry • Manual handling and quality checking of products • Assisting with inventory levels and ordering supplies • Ensuring portions are measured accordingly • Weighing, packaging and pricing products • Maintaining, cleaning and organising the working environment • Adhering to Food Safety and Hygiene procedures and policies on site Requirements: • Working within a butchery or kitchen environments would be essential • Previous experience using preparation equipment including kitchen knives • Ability to adhere to Hygiene and Food policies • Knowledge of food production preparation techniques • Must be numerate and literate due to nature of the role • Ability to use own initiative and a keen eye for detail • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills would be required To apply for this role please click apply or call us on (phone number removed)
