What you'll be doing as a Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Technician:
As an R&M Technician , you will lead a two-person R&M team , ensuring all maintenance and repair tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll be a key player in keeping vital infrastructure running smoothly.
Base location : Kidlington – OX51QT
Working pattern: 45 hours a week on a shift pattern, including a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.
What should you bring to the role?
The must-haves (essential criteria) for this opportunity include:
- You will have experience or training in repair and maintenance in the water industry.
- You should be able to meet the physical demands of the role with the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Use your initiative and problem-solve where repairs are required.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical messages simply.
- Have a can-do, positive attitude, remaining open to new ideas and change.
- Be self-motivated and confident in completing tasks to the best of your ability.
- Street Works (NRSWA)/SSSTS qualification
- Full UK driver’s licence.
- Be competent in using computers and other IT equipment.
- Advantageous if you have an EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2 and/or a First Aid qualification.
- Salary up to £43,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
- Van and Full PPE will be provided.
- Annual Leave - 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with the length of service. (plusbank holidays)
