Vehicle Technician - Coventry £32,000 - £42,000 | Mon-Fri + Very Rare Saturdays | Motorhome Contract Work

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Coventry for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Service Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Mechanic.

Key Details:

• £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Very rare Saturday requirement (occasional only)
• 9:00am - 6:00pm with 30-minute break
• Permanent, stable position

The Role:

You will be working within a busy workshop environment carrying out a range of mechanical duties across cars and light commercial vehicles.

The business also holds an ongoing contract with a motorhome company, providing additional variety and exposure to larger and more complex vehicles.

This is a hands-on Vehicle Technician / Workshop Mechanic position covering servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

• Cambelt / timing belt replacement (essential requirement)
• Servicing and maintenance of vehicles
• Mechanical repairs across cars and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• General workshop duties

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Service Technician who can demonstrate:

• Strong mechanical background within a workshop environment
• Proven experience with timing belts / cambelts (essential)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliability and a professional attitude
• Desirable experience (not essential):
• MOT Tester qualification
• Diagnostic Technician experience
• Motorhome or campervan experience
• Main dealer or independent garage background
• Light commercial vehicle experience
