An established and progressive independent accountancy firm in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into a mixed accounts and audit role , offering real variety, client exposure, and a clear route into leadership.
This is a position suited to someone who enjoys working across both disciplines, not purely accounts, and wants to build broader experience within a supportive practice environment.

The Role You will work closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, with responsibilities including:
Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
Personal and corporate tax compliance
Supporting audit assignments alongside senior team members
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships
Supporting and developing junior team members
Gradually taking ownership of your own portfolio
About You ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience considered)
Background within accountancy practice
Experience across both accounts and audit is highly beneficial
Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
Keen to progress and take on more responsibility over time
