Are you a Procurement Assistant or Stock Controller looking for a stable, varied role with a great work-life balance within a well-established engineering company?
For over 30 years, this company has been manufacturing bespoke mechanical components for a wide range of industries including plant machinery, aerospace, and infrastructure. With a strong reputation and consistent workload, they are now looking to support their purchasing function with an additional hire.
In this varied role, you will support the Purchasing Manager while also taking ownership of your own responsibilities. Your time will be split between the office and workshop, managing stock levels, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring materials and tooling are available to keep operations running smoothly.
This role would suit a Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Assistant, or Stock Controller looking for a stable, hands-on position within a supportive and well-established business.
The role
Maintain stock levels across the workshop and office, ensuring materials and tooling are always available
Collaborate with purchasing manager
Split role between office-based tasks and shop floor support
