About the role

Overview We are seeking 5 skilled Fabricator Welders to join our clients manufacturing team ASAP. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication expertise, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and work with various materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects in a dynamic environment, utilising advanced welding techniques and mechanical knowledge. Our client anticipates needing the extra work force for 8-10 weeks, however this could be extended. We are looking for welders who are experienced in working with thin gauge materials 1.5mm to 3.0mm Stainless Steel. The rates are paid PAYE Duties Perform TIG and MIG welding and other welding processes on diverse materials, including sheet metal and structural components Fabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring precision and quality standards are met Measure and mark materials accurately using basic math skills Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations Inspect completed work for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production targets Skills Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding techniques suitable for British standards Strong fabrication skills, including working with sheet metal and structural components Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and equipment operation Good understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Effective communication skills within a team environmentIf you are interested in this position please apply via this website or contact Brendon at Russell Taylors head office.
