ToensurethatallstatutoryandlegislativerequirementsaremetinrespectoftheCouncilsownershipanduseofitspropertyassets,includingcompletinganynecessaryriskassessmentsandremedialworks.
ToputinplacecontractsandagreementswithappropriatecontractorsorprovidersasnecessarytodeliverthefullrangeofFacilitiesManagementfunctionsinaneffective,timelymanner,ensuringvalueformoneyfortheCouncil.
Toprocurewhereappropriate,suitableproviders/contractorstoundertakespecialistwork.
Todirectandmonitorsuchprovidersandcontractorssoastoensurethatallservicesaredeliveredtospecifiedstandardsandwithinagreedbudgetsandtimescales.
Tobeconversantwiththerelevantstatutoryandregulatoryrequirements(inparticularastheyrelatetoLocalAuthorityownedandoccupiedproperty)andtheprovisionsoftheCouncilsconstitutionandtodevelopthefullrangeofmanagerialandprofessionalskillsandknowledgetosatisfytherequirementsofthepost. xwzovoh
