Job Title: Furniture Assembly Operative Location: Colchester Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + Holiday, Pension and Adecco Benefits Working Hours Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30pm - 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 42.5hrs per week Job Type: Temporary Adhoc Ongoing Start Date: Immediately start Immediate Start Available | Ongoing Ad Hoc Work We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Assistant to join a busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for immediate employment. The Role As an Assembly Assistant, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of wooden furniture products, including cupboards, doors, and other furniture components. You may also be required to support warehouse operations when needed. Key Responsibilities: Assembling small and large wooden furniture parts Fitting components to cupboards, doors, and furniture units. I.e hinges and door handles Using basic hand tools safely and effectively Checking finished products for quality and accuracy Maintaining a clean and organised work area Following health and safety procedures at all timesCandidate Requirements Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is beneficial but not essential Good attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Physically fit and comfortable handling furniture componentsWhy Work for Adecco?
