About the role

Role: Web Developer - Umbraco Location: Remote - UK Overview We’re working with an Insurance Consultancy as they continue to invest in their digital platforms and modernise their technology stack. They’re building out a product-focused engineering team and are looking for hands-on developers to help deliver a number of web-based platforms, with a strong focus on Azure and modern cloud architecture. Key Responsibilities This is a full-stack, hands-on engineering role, working as part of a collaborative product team. * Building and enhancing web applications using .NET and modern front-end frameworks * Working with Umbraco CMS, with a move towards more headless architecture (e.g. Strapi) * Developing and deploying solutions within Azure (including serverless components) * • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and overall engineering practices * Collaborating closely with other developers through pair programming and shared problem solving Key Requirements * Experience building web applications across front-end and back-end * Strong working knowledge of .NET and C# * Experience with Umbraco or similar CMS platforms * Exposure to Azure / cloud environments * Comfortable working across development and deployment (not siloed) * Someone who enjoys collaborating and working as part of a team Tech Environment * C# / .NET Core / Web APIs * Umbraco CMS * JavaScript / TypeScript (React, Angular or similar) * Azure (App Services, Functions, etc.) * CI/CD (Azure DevOps or similar) Nice to Have * Experience with headless CMS (e.g. Strapi) * Exposure to serverless architecture * Background in financial services or regulated environments
