Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centres Location: Hybrid if close to UK based offices (variety throughout the UK) of Fully Remote Salary: £50,000–£75,000 + benefits depending on experience We’re partnered with a growing consultancy delivering mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to strengthen their Electrical team with experienced Senior Electrical Engineers. You’ll work alongside experienced mission-critical engineers on technically complex projects, with the opportunity to take ownership, continue developing technically, and progress further within the business. What you’ll be doing You’ll support the delivery of electrical building services design across Data Centre and mission-critical projects, from early-stage concept through to detailed design and project delivery. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and clients, supporting coordination across projects while remaining hands-on technically. There will also be opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute towards key design decisions. Key requirements 4–10+ years’ experience within electrical building services design Previous Data Centre or mission-critical project experience is essential Strong understanding of UK and/or international standards (CIBSE, BS, IEC etc.) Experience using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux and Amtech Comfortable coordinating projects and working within multidisciplinary teams Able to balance technical delivery with project deadlines Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar Working towards Chartership or interested in pursuing itWhat’s on offer Salary between £50,000–£75,000 depending on experience Remote working available if not close to UK office Hybrid working for those local to the offices (variety throughout the UK) Pension contribution Monthly healthcare allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays 37.5 hour working week 9 day working fortnight available Annual salary and progression reviews Chartership support and ongoing training Exposure to major international Data Centre projectsIf you’d like to find out more, apply now and I’ll happily share more detail around the projects, team, and long-term progression opportunities.
