About the role

What you'll be doing Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors acting in the role of the Employer’s Agent (PQS) to a series of Framework ContractorsManage and be responsible for the process of monthly assessments of the Framework Contractors applicationsTake part in collaborative cost reviews to assist in pricing each of the works call off ordersAudit cost on a regular basis in line with the Employers audit regime for all NEC Option C contractsAgree / make recommendations for final accounts with each of the Framework Contractors for each of their call off packagesEnsure CPS KPIs are achievedReport, on a monthly basis, the performance in month and year to date of each of the Framework Contractors against AMFP and rolling forecast.Report, on a monthly basis, the remaining forecast for the year for each of the Framework ContractorsReport, on a monthly basis, to the CPS Senior Team including progress, fees earned, cost to date, forecast and EVMUpdate the CPS forecast for EMI works on a monthly basis and report to the EmployerMake applications to the Employer for all works to date for EMI works and calculate and apply for fees on framework spendTake part in the AMFP process each year to set the budgets for the following yearManage and be responsible for CPS Subcontractors undertaking PDA works, including liabilities, payments and EVMPreparation of monthly CVR reports and reporting to senior managementAssist in the preparation of the annual AMFPEstablish strategic approach to the management of the Framework ContractorsTake part and contribute to the M25 Community events (CTSG and commercial forums) Who we're looking for Previous experience of running and managing a Commercial TeamPrevious relevant experience in commercial management of NEC Option C acting as Employer’s AgentDetailed understanding of the operation of the NEC contractExperience in Cost Accreditation auditingExperience in EVM calculations and reportingMembership of a relevant professional body and/or working towards a relevant professional qualification is desirable, such as RICS/CIOB/InstCESA valid CSCS card is required Why work for us Day in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.Why join us?As if contributing to and supporting work that makes life better for millions wasn’t rewarding enough, we offer a full range of benefits too.
