SEND Teacher – Autism & Complex Needs
Peterborough Area
Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in the Peterborough area. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for an enthusiastic educator committed to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum, including English, Maths, Science, and a range of other subjects. Duties will include lesson planning, assessment, marking, and adapting learning activities to meet the individual needs of pupils, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for either a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced instructor with a strong background in SEND education.
The Role
* Full-time teaching position, Monday to Friday
* Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Responsible for marking and tracking pupil progress
* Working closely with support staff, therapists and senior leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
The Ideal Candidate
* QTS qualified teachers or experienced instructors are welcome to apply
* Previous experience working with pupils with Autism and complex needs
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Ability to differentiate learning and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* Patient, resilient and committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
