An established and well-regarded claims management business is looking to strengthen its subsidence team with the addition of an experienced Subsidence Handler.
This is a strong opportunity for someone already working within property or subsidence claims who wants to develop their technical capability within a structured, quality-driven environment. The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering high standards across domestic and commercial claims, with genuine investment in training and progression.
The role
Youll play a key part in managing subsidence claims from initial triage through to progression, supporting both customers and the wider technical team. This is a desk-based role with a strong focus on investigation, communication and accurate decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and progressing subsidence claims in line with insurer guidelines
  • Conducting initial triage to determine validity and next steps
  • Reviewing policy coverage, terms and conditions
  • Preparing reports within agreed service levels
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date claim records
  • Communicating effectively with customers, insurers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting wider team activity as required
Experience
  • Experience in subsidence, property claims, or a similar technical claims environment
  • Confidence handling complex or sensitive conversations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Professional qualifications xwzovoh (Cert CII / Cert CILA or similar) are advantageous
