Reed Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school just outside Milton Keynes to recruit a Science Teacher with a Physics specialism for a Winter Term-only maternity cover, starting in September.

This role is ideal for a committed Science Teacher who enjoys delivering engaging Physics lessons and is looking for a fixed-term opportunity within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Role

  • Teaching Science, with a strong focus on Physics, across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified or experienced Science Teacher with a Physics specialism
  • QTS desirable but not essential
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student success
