Parts Advisor

Job Description: We are searching for a Parts & Aftersales Advisor to join a growing team at a reputable garden machinery distribution company based in Swindon. This role will start following a successful interview. Key Responsibilities: * Assist customers, including members of the public (B2C) and trade clients (B2B), over the phone and online with parts inquiries * Parts Catalogues and stock systems * Identify and recommend the correct parts based on customer needs * Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance * Upsell additional products and services when appropriate * Handle customer complaints and returns professionally * Process sales transactions using our premier stock system * Prepare invoices, quotes, and purchase orders * Coordinate with suppliers and service technicians for part orders Requirements: * Experience in lawnmower, garden machinery, or automotive parts sales (preferred but not essential) * Great customer service skills in high demand B2C/B2B * Excellent communication skills * Ability to use parts lookup software and online catalogues * Basic computer skills (MS Office) * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Pay and Hours: * Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 For the successful candidate in this field, there are progression opportunities within the department. This role is ideal for candidates looking for a new career path with previous experience in customer service or parts advising. Full training is provided. A technical background in small engines, lawn equipment, or mechanics is preferred but not essential. Experience in a similar role is also beneficial.
