About the role

Long established and highly respected company seek the new appointment of a Senior Traffic Engineer to bolster their team. This senior role requires direct knowledge and proven previous success in collating the right gathered information to provide highly detailed traffic reports for submission to planning and for approval. Traffic flow analysis and data gathering statistics for anticipated schemes are, as expected, incredibly varied from schools, housing and accomodation in various forms i.e estates to high rise, retail, industrial, hospitals... the list goes on. You will be highly professional and naturally thorough obtaining and gathering information from councils and the appropriate bodies. You will collate information and put together assesed detailed reports on traffic flows including PCU's (Passenger Car Units) surveys and previous traffic and highways capacity work analysis' coupled with current information. Coordinating with Civil Engineers, you will also work with the Highways Department and be involved with design team meetings as well as having an involvement with vision documents. Such reports you will write will also have a direct benefit and invaluable interest to assist and influence Civil Engineers in their safest designs with the best traffic flow options. Candidates sought must have this kind of experience and be qualified with a Civil Engineering Degree or Traffic Management Degree.
