Electrical Estimator – Retail & Commercial Fit-Out 📍 Blackpool | 💼 Hybrid Working | 💰 Up to £60,000 + Package I’m working with a fantastic PE backed client based in Blackpool who are looking to bring an Electrical Estimator into their growing team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking business delivering fast-paced retail and commercial fit-out projects across the UK. **They’re also open to considering someone slightly more junior with some electrical estimating experience who’s eager to develop so long as you’ve had exposure to commercial (not domestic) projects his could be the role for you.** 🔧 The Role You’ll play a key role in securing and shaping projects from the ground up, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, competitive estimates. What you’ll be doing: Preparing detailed electrical estimates and cost breakdowns for retail fit-outs and refurbishments Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Producing bills of materials and value engineering solutions Supporting bid submissions and attending client presentations Collaborating with project teams to ensure a seamless handover Keeping pricing data and supplier records up to date 🎯 What They’re Looking For Experience as an Electrical Estimator (ideally 3+ years, but open to developing talent) Background in retail or commercial fit-out projects Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods Comfortable working on fast-track or phased retail programmes Proficient in MS Excel Strong communication, organisation, and numerical skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Bonus points for: HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Experience with national retail clients (e.g. supermarkets or high-street brands) Knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts 🌟 What’s on Offer Salary up to £60,000 Company car 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme + life cover Ongoing training and career development Friendly, supportive team culture Hybrid/flexible working options This is a great opportunity to join a company that genuinely invests in its people and offers clear progression whether you’re already established or looking to step up in your estimating career.
