Document Controller – Holiday Cover Location: Northampton Rate: £18 per hour Duration: 2 weeks Contract: Temporary / Freelance Start: 22nd September We are currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to provide one week of holiday cover on an industrial construction site in Northampton. This is a short-term opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a construction or industrial environment, supporting the project team with the management and control of project documentation. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain project documentation and filing systems. * Ensure documents are correctly uploaded, issued and distributed. * Maintain document registers and revision control. * Process drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation. * Ensure the project team has access to the latest approved information. * Assist with document retrieval and general administrative duties. * Liaise with site and office-based teams to ensure information is controlled effectively. * Maintain accurate records in line with project procedures. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Document Controller, preferably within construction or an industrial environment. * Good knowledge of document management and revision control. * Strong organisational and administrative skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office. * The ability to work independently and hit the ground running. * Previous site-based experience would be advantageous
