Product Life Cycle Consultant (Aftermarket)

PE Global is recruiting a Product Life Cycle Consultant (Aftermarket) for our manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12 month contract and the rate for this role is £33.12 PAYE or £44.95 Umbrella p/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead aftermarket activities across NPI and product lifecycle projects
• Drive initiatives to improve parts sales and aftermarket growth
• Develop and implement repair and service solutions
• Support business cases for new aftermarket products and services
• Optimise parts branding, supplier agreements, and design changes
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed aftermarket requirements
• Analyse complex data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Ensure parts availability and service levels are aligned with growth targets

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive, off-highway, or similar technical industries
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of aftermarket operations and business cases
• Technical understanding of diesel engines and components
• Experience with engineering data systems (e.g. Teamcenter or similar)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Desirable:

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of parts marketing and sales
• Experience across NPI and product lifecycle processes
