About YouYou will be a senior people leader with the credibility, compassion and resilience to inspire a diverse workforce and contribute fully to Board-level leadership.
You will have:
- CIPD qualification and membership.
- Significant experience working at a senior level in a complex NHS Organisation.
- Experience in engaging, supporting and developing a large workforce
- Strong strategic awareness of NHS priorities and national policy, as well as local knowledge.

Person Specification Professional Requirements- Relevant Degree and CIPD qualified.
- Masters in HR or Organisational development or equivalent.
- Significant experience working at a senior level in Human Resources in a complex NHS organisation.
- Successful track record of delivering/exceeding performance goals/targets in a complex environment with conflicting priorities and demands.
- Successful track record of developing Workforce/HR & OD strategies that result in organisational performance improvements.
- Experience of leading and successfully delivering complex change.
- Significant experience of industrial relations management within a complex environment.
- Experience of leading and building effective teams
- Experience of managing significant financial, people and other resources.
- Experience of leading a professional Human Resources team and developing systems to align with Business Units.
- Broad knowledge of HR strategic approaches to development of organisational behaviours
- Sound knowledge of employment law.
- Broad understanding of key challenges and opportunities facing the NHS.
- Understanding of performance management frameworks and how they contribute to monitoring and managing organisational, team and individual performance.
