Google Cloud Engineer - GCP Networking Specialist

My global IT consultancy require and experienced hands-on Google Cloud Networking Engineer who specialises in GCP networking to join their team in London working for a financial organisation

You'll design, build and operate the provisioning engine that turns intent into standardized, compliant networking resources (VPCs, subnets, policy, routing and private connectivity endpoints) at enterprise scale. Working as part of an agile team, you'll contribute to system design, write and validate production code and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions that meet high standards for security, scalability, and operability, while helping shape technical direction, engineering culture, and operational excellence for platform services.

Essential Technical Skill

• Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native services on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - GCP Preferred
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and at least one modern programming language used in platform development (e.g., Go and/or Python)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) to provision and manage cloud infrastructure
• Automation and CI/CD processes with a strong commitment to testing as a core engineering discipline
