Location:  Kings Hill / Hybrid Salary/package:  £65,500 per annum Contract type:  Permanent Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week As a Technical Product Specialist you will play a central role in shaping and evolving cloud-based products that support education and SME customers. This is a senior technical position with real influence, where your expertise helps turn complex Microsoft Cloud capability into secure, scalable and customer-ready services. This role would suit an experienced cloud specialist ready to focus on product design and technical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence technical direction, work with emerging technologies and collaborate closely with sales, delivery and senior stakeholders. Why this role matters  You will play a key role in defining and governing Microsoft Cloud-based products, ensuring they are secure, scalable and aligned to customer and organisational needs. This is a role where technical expertise, judgement and collaboration are essential, with responsibility for architectural integrity, product design and supporting both internal teams and customers with confidence. What you’ll be doing  Owning the technical design and governance of Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid cloud products to ensure long-term quality and consistency. Defining and maintaining technical roadmaps aligned to organisational strategy and customer demand. Designing product concepts, proofs of concept and support models to enable successful delivery and adoption. Supporting sales and account management teams by translating technical capability into clear customer value. Lead AI-driven innovation, incorporating technologies such as Microsoft Co-pilot, Azure OpenAI, automation frameworks, and intelligent analytics. Acting as a senior technical escalation point for complex design and implementation challenges. Leading workshops and technical discussions with internal teams, partners and customers. What we’re looking for Extensive experience architecting and delivering Microsoft Cloud solutions at scale. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, security and governance frameworks. The ability to translate complex technical designs into clear, practical solutions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including presenting to non-technical audiences. Experience operating within complex, multi-tenant, distributed cloud environments. A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with confidence influencing technical direction. AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert • Certifications in AI, automation, Power Platform, or cloud security specialisms (Desirable Qualifications) What you’ll get in return Salary of £65,500 per annum. 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after 4 years.
