• We are actively seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist community team delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex health, social, psychological, and housing needs.

The Role:

• Manage your own caseload autonomously from assessment through to intervention and review
• Deliver specialist community-based OT services to adults and families
• Apply key legislation including the Care Act, housing regulations, and moving & handling guidance
• Assess the interaction between health, housing, and social care, including recommendations for adaptations and DFGs
• Provide practical support and advice to service users, families, and carers
• Recommend and arrange specialist equipment with a focus on suitability and cost-effectiveness
• Complete person-centred assessments and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration
• Strong experience in community / complex caseloads
• Confident working independently and making clinical decisions
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
