Electrical Design Engineer

Manufacturing Futures are supporting an expanding engineering business in South Yorkshire in their search for an Electrical Design Engineer. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a dynamic R&D and system integration team with an excellent reputation for delivering complex control & automation systems. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will work on a range of standard and bespoke automated systems, gaining exposure to electrical design, control systems and project delivery. Electrical Design Engineer – Role & Responsibilities – Automation / Electrical / Controls Design electrical control systems for automated machinery Produce electrical schematics and system drawings using CAD software Create BOMs and supporting technical documentation Assist with testing and commissioning of the bespoke systems Assist with technical queries and problem-solving within the engineering team Investigate and evaluate new automation technologies Electrical Design Engineer – Skills & Experience – Automation / Electrical / Controls Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Experience or exposure to mainstream PLC’s and control systems Proficient with Eplan or similar electrical CAD software Previous experience in an Electrical Design Engineer or automation-related role Experience in on-site installation and commissioning Experience withing ATEX certification would be a major bonus A clean UK Driving Licence If this role appeals, please apply now!
