About the role
Job title: General Manager- Interiors / Homeware
Contract :Full-Time
salary: £48,000 to £55,000 per annumsubject to experience.Quarterly bonus ( up to 40% of quarterly Salary) depending on sales performance for the quarter.
RoleDescription :The General Manager will be responsible for the overall commercial performance and day-to-day managementof the showroom.The role will focus on building strong relationships withguests and key stakeholders, growing the design business, and delivering an exceptional service experience.This role requires a commercially astute and highly autonomous leader who can drive revenue, lead a high-performing team and identify opportunities to grow the brand.
Roles and responsibilities :- Lead the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring a luxury retail and showroom experience at all times.
- Recruit, develop and lead a knowledgeable and passionate sales team focused on delivering exceptional service and expert product knowledge.
- Maintain strong visual merchandising standards in partnership with the visual team, and ensure the studio reflects the aesthetic and brand standards.
- Manage stock levels, product ordering and inventory accuracy in line with business KPIs.
- Take ownership of site P&L performance, working closely with finance to deliver revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Accurately report sales data, insights and opportunities to relevant internal teams.
- Continuously review studio performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and customer experience.
- Proven leadership experience within luxury retail, interiors, or design-led showroom environments.
- Demonstrable experience working with a multi step sales cycle, ideally within an interiors / furniture business
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving financial targets.
- Experience managing high-value client relationships and delivering consultative sales.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with a diverse membership base.
- Highly proactive and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work autonomously and identify new opportunities.
- A passion for interiors and design.
