Foreman

Our client is a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor and is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team on a major flood alleviation scheme. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with strong structures experience, ideally within reinforced concrete and heavy civils environments. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring delivery against programme, quality, and safety targets * Plan and coordinate trades, labour, plant, and subcontractors * Establish and monitor key stage programmes * Interpret drawings/specifications and communicate effectively to site teams * Ensure method statements and risk assessments are in place for all high-risk activities * Maintain site presentation, security, and organisation * Liaise with commercial, design, and project teams to resolve technical queries * Support environmental and HSE objectives in line with project requirements * Attend and contribute to site and internal meetings Requirements: * Proven experience as a General Foreman within civil engineering * Strong background in structures / reinforced concrete works * Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor * SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS (essential) * First Aid at Work * IOSH or equivalent H&S training * Knowledge of Temporary Works, Excavation Safety, and lifting operations * Strong organisational, communication, and planning skills How to Apply: If you are an experienced General Foreman with a strong civils and structures background, apply now with your CV to be considered
