About the role

Locations: Manchester Contract: 12+ months Rate: £40-£55 per hour (Inside IR35) Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in office)   We are seeking experienced Senior and Principal Electrical Engineers to support a growing pipeline of projects within the Defence sector. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering exposure to complex, high-value projects within a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.   Key Responsibilities ·Deliver electrical building services design and consultancy under the direction of the Project Lead ·Produce high-quality design deliverables including drawings, specifications, and reports ·Undertake site surveys and support construction-stage activities ·Carry out design checks and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and client requirements ·Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop efficient, safe, and buildable solutions ·Support tender documentation, fee estimates, scopes of work, and change control processes ·Maintain strong client and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery ·Ensure awareness and application of CDM regulations Requirements Qualifications & Eligibility ·Ideally Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards (CIBSE or IET) ·Right to work in the UK Technical Experience ·Strong background in electrical building services design ·Proven experience in technical detailing and specification writing ·Working knowledge of: oBIM Level 2 oNavisworks, AutoCAD, NBS oAmtech / Trimble (or Electrical OM exposure desirable)   If you're a motivated Electrical Engineer looking for your next contract role, apply now or get in touch to discuss further
