HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Alfreton (DE55)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known andestablishedgeneral haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team.

Job Type:Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available

Pay Rates:

Class 1 (C+E):

• £15.00 per hour (PAYE)

• £16.81 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

Class 2 (CAT C):

• £14.10 per hour (PAYE)

• £15.80 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

Additional Payments:

• £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to all drivers completing nights out / tramping)

Shift Patterns & Start Times:

• Start times available from 03:00 onwards

• Day work available

• Optional nights out / tramping (completely flexible and driver choice)

• Full-time and part-time work available

• Work planned around driver availability and personal circumstances

The Role:

• General haulage work across commercial and residential deliveries

• Operatingcurtainsidervehicles

• Vehicles are pre-loaded on arrival to site

• Assistingwith offloading whererequired

• Minimal handball involved overall

• Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift

• Nationwide deliveries and collections

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence

• Minimum 1 year driving experiencerequired

• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only

• Valid CPC and Digi Card

• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations

• Reliable,professionaland flexible approach to work
