Cover Supervisor - Reception or KS1 Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 Day Rate: £(Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Long-Term, Temp to Perm Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or an Early Career Teacher looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive primary setting? This Cover Supervisor role offers a fantastic opportunity to build confidence across Reception or KS1 in a welcoming, well-resourced school. You'll primarily support pupils and staff across the phase, with occasional responsibility for covering lessons. The role also includes delivering targeted interventions, making a real impact on pupil progress. Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning across KS1 and EYFS Deliver pre-planned lessons during short-term cover Run small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy Provide flexible support across Reception and KS1 classes Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environmentWhat We're Looking For: ECTs wanting experience in the classroom Experience with EYFS or KS1 Confident leading small groups and covering lessons when needed Strong behaviour management and communication skills Passion for primary educationWhy Apply?
