Electrical Senior Associate or Associate Director Glasgow

We have a brand-new opportunity for an Electrical Senior Associate or Associate Director to join our team based in our Glasgow office.
It's an exciting time to join our Glasgow office. It was established in 2016 to provide a local presence on our projects. Now, it houses an abundance of key sector expertise and knowledge that supports projects across the UK.
We are supporting transformational and sustainable change with major projects and are eager to speak with candidates who have experience in the building services sector.
As a Senior Associate or Associate Director, you will have ownership of multiple complex activities. You’ll be leading large-scale, complex projects, including managing stakeholders’ expectations, monitoring and reporting metrics and motivating others to work at their best. You’ll be expected to look out for new and more efficient ways of working and adding value, as well as to help secure new work and build strong client relationships.
Help run and develop a growing office whilst maintaining the culture.
Lead larger scale schemes and co-ordinate all disciplines being the main Client point of contact throughout a project.
Competently represent all disciplines of Hoare Lea at project meetings.
Support in developing and leading a high-performing local team and attend interviews.
Monitor project expenditure and report to senior management.
Report cost and resource requirements to the management team regularly.
Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering and good understanding of other disciplines.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Excellent organisational and planning skills to effectively work to timescales and deadlines.
From there, successful candidates will be invited to attend a panel interview, either via Microsoft Teams or in person at one of our offices.
