The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Humanities lessons across subjects such as History and Geography
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting your teaching as a Humanities Teacher to meet individual needs
Provide clear, constructive feedback to support development
Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Promote both academic success and emotional wellbeingAbout You
We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who has:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities
Experience working with SEMH or SEN students (desirable but not essential)
Knowledge of effective strategies to support SEMH learners
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Patience, resilience, and empathy
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A commitment to ongoing professional developmentAs a Humanities Teacher, your ability to engage students and make learning meaningful will be key to their success. You will play a vital role in helping them develop critical thinking skills, broaden their understanding of the world, and grow in confidence.
