HR Generalist

We are exclusively representing a highly regarded manufacturing business based in Hastings who are looking to recruit a HR Generalist to join their team. The Role Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this is a varied and all-encompassing HR role covering both operational and strategic responsibilities within a busy manufacturing environment: Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes Providing employee relations support and advising managers on HR matters Maintaining HR compliance, policies and employee records Supporting wider HR operations and workforce planning activities Assisting with training and development initiatives for managers and staff Involvement in continuous improvement and wider business projects Supporting the HR Manager with generalist HR duties across the site Person specification Previous experience in a similar all-rounded HR role Ideally experience within SME manufacturing, engineering or production (not essential) CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards (desirable) Confident supporting employee relations and day-to-day HR queries Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach Forward-thinking and keen to develop within a growing business Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varied workload If you’re looking for a hands-on HR role where you can genuinely get involved across all areas of HR and make a real difference within a respected manufacturing business, we’d love to hear from you
