Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Middlesbrough. This is a 12-month contract with an immediate start, offering competitive day rates. Key Details: * Location: Middlesbrough * Duration: 12 months * Start Date: ASAP * Rate: £300 – £400 per shift (dependent on experience) Responsibilities: * Setting out and surveying for highways works * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design specifications * Managing and interpreting technical drawings * Supporting site management with daily operations * Quality assurance and control * Maintaining accurate site records and reports Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects * Strong setting out skills * Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable) What’s on Offer: * Long-term contract on a high-profile infrastructure project * Competitive day rates * Opportunity to work with an established contractor If you are available immediately and have relevant highways experience, we encourage you to apply
