Maintenance Plumber

Plumber Required Job Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Industry: Facilities Management Location: Lerwick, Shetland Salary: Competitive + Relocation Package Available JOB DESCRIPTION: Plumber required for a leading Facilities Management company to carry out planned, reactive and preventative maintenance on a large commercial building in Lerwick, Shetland. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Plumber to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent benefits, stability and opportunities for progression. This role will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (38.75 hours per week), with participation in an on-call rota. Daily responsibilities will include: Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance Fault finding and repairs on plumbing systems Maintenance of hot and cold-water systems General pipework repairs and installations Supporting compliance and health & safety procedures Using PDA/tablet systems to manage and complete works Assisting wider FM teams when required Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently Requirements for the role: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) Previous experience within Facilities Management or commercial maintenance Experience working on commercial plumbing systems Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of health & safety procedures Basic IT skills What's on offer: Competitive salary Relocation package available 33 days holiday Pension & life assurance Long-term permanent position Excellent opportunities for progressionIf interested or want to hear more, please send your CV today.
