About the role
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Fit Out Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial and residential fit out projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in interior fit out and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage fit out projects from inception through to handover.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and labour.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations.
* Monitor project programmes and ensure deadlines are achieved.
* Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage project budgets, variations, and procurement schedules.
* Ensure quality control standards are maintained across all phases of construction.
* Resolve on-site issues efficiently and proactively.
* Prepare and submit progress reports and site documentation.
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with company standards and client expectations.
* Support the commercial team with cost tracking and forecasting.
Essential
* Demonstrable experience managing specialist interior and fit-out packages within the construction sector.
* Proven experience as a Fit Out Manager, Site Manager, or Project Manager within the construction industry.
* Strong background delivering commercial fit out, CAT A/CAT B, refurbishment, or interior projects.
* Strong technical understanding of partitioning systems, acoustic solutions, passive fire protection requirements, and bespoke interior finishes.
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation, and building regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
