Support Worker – Female Applicants Only Location: Birmingham, B18 Pay: £12.71 per hour Shifts: Mix of day and night shifts Hours: Full time – minimum of 4 shifts per week Start Date: Immediate We are currently recruiting for a female Support Worker to join a residential care home in Birmingham, B18, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, including schizophrenia. This is a full-time role offering a mixture of day and night shifts. Some residents require support with full manual handling and personal care, so previous experience in a similar setting would be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality support to residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs * Support individuals with daily living tasks and routines * Deliver personal care where required * Assist with full manual handling for some residents * Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times * Follow care plans and report any changes or concerns * Work effectively as part of the care team * Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for residents Requirements * Female applicants only * Previous experience in a support work or care role is preferred * Experience working with learning disabilities and mental health is desirable * Comfortable providing personal care and manual handling support * Flexible to work a mix of day and night shifts * Reliable, compassionate, and team-focused approach * Available for an immediate start Important Information * Full time role – minimum of 4 shifts per week * Based in Birmingham, B18 * Pay rate of £12.71 per hour * This role does not offer sponsorship If you are a caring and committed Support Worker looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
