Data Scientist / AI Engineer

Nottingham-based (2 days a week)

We are working with a AI start up who transform leading research into AI technologies, solving meaningful problems for clients in the retail and healthcare sectors.

What We Do

Retail: Promotions, pricing, and forecasting - building scalable AI systems to automate and optimise decision-making.

Healthcare: Research-driven AI projects with open problem spaces - early-stage innovation and experimentation.

We've built AI systems for retail clients and are now focusing on making these solutions repeatable and deployable across industries.

Essential Skills

Strong programming skills in Python
Solid understanding of SQL and data manipulation
Background in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science (MSc or PhD preferred)
Experience building or deploying machine learning models
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
