About the role:

I am a young man in my 30s living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I require support with my daily living needs to enable me to live as independently and comfortably as possible. I have an established team who know my routines well, and I am looking for someone who can step in when regular staff are unavailable.

Main Duties May Include:

• Supporting with personal care
• Assisting with daily routines and tasks
• Helping with mobility and transfers
• Supporting with meals and hydration
• Supporting me with my ventilation needs
• Assisting with social activities or outings when required
• Working alongside and following guidance from my existing care team

I am looking for a reliable and compassionate bank support worker to provide occasional cover for sickness and annual leave within my established care team. This role is offered on a flexible, as-needed basis as you will be working as part of a small friendly team.

• A caring, reliable, and respectful individual
• Someone who is flexible and able to work at short notice where possible
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow established care routines
• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as training can be provided
