Finishing Manager / Handover Manager – Commercial Project Glasgow Start: ASAP Contract / Freelance considered CV Library is currently seeking an experienced Finishing Manager / Handover Manager for a large-scale commercial project in Glasgow. This role will focus on the final delivery phase of the project, overseeing quality assurance, managing defects, and coordinating snagging works through to successful handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all works are completed to specification and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: * Managing the finishing and handover phase of a large commercial project * Identifying, tracking, and closing out defects and snagging items * Coordinating subcontractors to complete remedial and finishing works * Implementing and maintaining QA procedures across final stages * Carrying out inspections to ensure works meet required standards * Liaising with site management, client representatives, and consultants * Managing handover documentation and completion schedules Requirements: * Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or Handover Manager on commercial projects * Strong background in defect management and snagging processes * Experience implementing QA and quality inspection procedures * Ability to coordinate multiple trades during final delivery stages * Strong communication and organisational skills Desirable: * Experience working on modular construction projects * Knowledge of concrete and pre-cast construction * Previous involvement in large-scale commercial developments What’s on offer: * Immediate start * Competitive rates * Major commercial project in Glasgow * Opportunity to work with an established contractor Apply now via CV Library or send your CV directly for immediate consideration
