Academics are currently recruiting for a full-time School Site Manager to join a friendly and well-established school in Maidstone. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility, ideal for someone with experience in caretaking, facilities, or site management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the opening, closing, and security of the school premises
Manage day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the site
Carry out regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance
Supervise contractors, cleaning staff, and site team members
Set up rooms and facilities for school activities, events, and lettings
Ensure the school grounds are safe, clean, and well maintained
Respond to site-related issues promptly and effectively
Maintain site procedures and support operational improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a site manager, caretaker, or facilities role
Strong organisational and leadership skills xwzovoh
A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
