Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer Location: Midlands – Mobile Pay: £15.50 per hour + overtime Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join a growing building services and facilities management company. This is a mobile role covering predominantly the Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of client sites. You'll need a strong trade background and the ability to work independently across different building maintenance tasks. The Role * Planned preventative and reactive building maintenance * Joinery, carpentry and general fabric repairs * Plumbing and basic mechanical maintenance * Fault finding and troubleshooting across building services * Completing repairs, improvement works and general maintenance * Maintaining accurate job, inspection and compliance records * Working independently across multiple client sites * Participating in an on-call rota with occasional out-of-hours work * Occasional national travel and working away when required What We're Looking For * Minimum 3 years' facilities/building maintenance experience * NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Joinery, Carpentry, Construction, Plumbing & Heating or another relevant trade * Strong multi-trade and general building maintenance experience * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Flexibility towards occasional working away and out-of-hours requirements * DBS clearance and CSCS card would be advantageous Package * £15.50 per hour + optional overtime * Company vehicle and tools provided where applicable * Training and professional development opportunities * Permanent position with a growing company and varied workload If you're an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Multi-Trade Operative or Building Maintenance Engineer looking for your next permanent opportunity, apply today
