CNC Miller / Team Leader Flexible Hours: Permanent Days – Flexible Working Hours A highly advanced precision engineering company supplying complex components to the aerospace, defence and advanced engineering sectors is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Team Leader to join its machining division. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong programming, setting and operating experience on Mazak 3 and 5 Axis machining centres, alongside the ability to support and lead a small team within a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment. The business operates some of the latest machining technology available and manufactures highly complex components to extremely tight tolerances. CNC Miller / Team Leader – Responsibilities * Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machines * Working across complex 3 and 5 Axis machining applications * Supporting and leading a team of machinists * Ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved * Assisting with process improvements and problem solving on the shop floor * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high engineering standards CNC Miller / Team Leader – Required Experience * Strong background programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC milling machinery * Experience with 3 Axis and 5 Axis machining * Previous experience machining complex precision components * Background within aerospace, defence, motorsport, advanced engineering or similar sectors * Experience supporting or managing people within a manufacturing environment * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings What’s on Offer * Permanent day shift * Flexibility around working hours * Long-term opportunity within a growing advanced engineering business * Exposure to highly complex and technically challenging work * Excellent modern machining environment with continued investment in technology and people * Salary dependent on experience and skill set
