About the role

I’m partnering with an ambitious industrial technology startup who is developing a network of distributed, software-defined factories designed to help hardware companies iterate faster and scale production efficiently. They are now hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale their proprietary factory operating system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop critical systems supporting factory automation, real-time data processing, and operational workflows.
  • Own full-stack development across infrastructure, backend services, frontend interfaces, and monitoring tools.
  • Work closely with leadership and factory-floor teams to identify operational bottlenecks and translate them into impactful software solutions.
  • Deploy and iterate on software rapidly, working closely with manufacturing operations to directly control and optimize production.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1–5 years of professional software engineering experience (exceptions made for exceptional candidates).
  • Experience working as a founder, founding engineer, or early employee at a fast-paced startup, or engineering experience at a top-tier VC-backed technology company.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-performance engineering organizations is advantageous. xwzovoh
  • Experience building frontend-heavy SaaS applications with strong attention to UX.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Strong generalist mindset with the ability to work across the stack and operate independently in high-autonomy environments.
