We are seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation, providing hands-on IT support across multiple school sites in Romford. This field-based role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys variety and working directly with staff across different locations. You will play a key role in maintaining and developing IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and contributing to strategic IT projects while ensuring reliable, high-quality service delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide field-based IT support across multiple sites
Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
Maintain and optimise systems, servers and networks
Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure
Deliver IT projects (upgrades, migrations, rollouts)
Ensure security, compliance and data protection
Mentor and support junior team members

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong IT support and networking experience
Confident with servers, infrastructure and networks
Skilled in diagnosing complex hardware/software issues
Understanding of cybersecurity and GDPR
Experience using systems such as SIMs, MS Office, Impero would be desirable.
Education sector experience is highly desirable

LOCATION
This is a full-time, field-based role across multiple school sites in Romford (36 hours per week, year-round).
