Vehicle Technician (Kirkby Stephen based)

A vehicle technician to help with a mixed fleet of PSVs and HGVs. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with either vehicle type, but not essential.

Relevant training will be provided for necessary qualifications.

Hours: 8:00am - 17:00pm Mon to Fri + Alternative Sat morning.

Candidate must be willing to help with School Transport. (Core function of the site)

Responsibilities:

* Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs under supervision.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery.
* Help in the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
* Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and tools. xwzovoh
* Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn best practices and improve skills.
