Lexus Swindon are one of the fastest growing Lexus Centre’s in the UK, dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of service and always exceeding expectations.
Due to an exciting expansion the Lexus Centre has a rare opportunity for an experienced Technician to join a team that is passionate about the services and support offered to customers. As a Lexus Technician the successful candidate will be able to thrive in an exciting environment, working for the largest automotive manufacturer in the world, where the role of Technician is vital to the Centre’s success.
Working in a dedicated aftersales team of 10, our Technicians provide a first class service to all customers of this prestigious dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnostics of a range of Lexus vehicles ensuring that work undertaken is of the highest quality. They will liaise with customers directly regarding their vehicles, provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the team, carry out jobs within the budgeted time and take responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment.
You will need to be an experienced Technician who is qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair or equivalent. Main dealership experience would be advantageous, however we also welcome applications from those who have worked at reputable independent garages, fast fit centres or car supermarkets. You will need to be comfortable working with others, able to contribute to team cohesion and easily build relationships utilising empathy and self confidence. You will be committed to creating a bespoke and excellent customer experience taking ownership of each issue through to resolution. You will also enjoy generating innovative solutions to problems with a willingness to adopt new ideas rather than just relying on established approaches.
